Dark-backed Wood-Quails on Youtube

We just launched the Un poco del Chocó-Youtube channel. From now on we’ll give you updates also in moving pictures from time to time here :-) Christian Stern, an old friend of Nicole is with us for a while and he just discovered his love for close up pictures of the fauna in the reserve. Enjoy.

Besides the all mighty Banded Ground-Cuckoo there are other rare birds in the Un poco del Chocó reserve. Since a few weeks the endemic and vulnerable Dark-backed Wood-Quail can be spotted at one of our feeding stations close to the station’s house.
